The High Cross at Moone
We were able to take a day while I was out of hospital to have a short trip to the High Cross at Moone. It was a beautiful day. It was great to get out and spend the day with my family.

Pictures at the Park. Some of the family came for a visit. We went to the park on morning while Morgann was at school. Maddie and AJ had a great time there. Maddie especially liked the swings.

On Thursday, Morgann had to go into hospital to get her tonsil, adenoids, and vents put into her ears. She was a nervous wreck before the surgery, which is totally not like her. She was in tear, which was making me want to cry for her. The Doctors and nurses were great with her. They got her to stop thinking about why she was so scared and was making her laugh. They even had a great way to put her to sleep...they made her blow up a balloon. She was laughing as she fell asleep...at least that is what it looked like. She was a real trooper. This picture was taken that night, she was ready to play but was stuck in bed to the monitor. They had to keep it on for 6 hours after the surgery.

Trying to get a picture of the girls after church.. they are not working with me. One of them is always looking away or has a weird face on.

This picture is a bit late, but I thought I would post it anyways. This is a picture of the girls with Dr. and Mrs. Brookes came to visit us. It was a very good visit. We enjoyed having them.

Today Matt caught Maddie making a ''ham and jam'' sandwich on the stairs. For those who are not 2 years old, that is a peanut butter and jam sandwich. I am not really sure why she calls it that. She thinks she can do everything herself now.

Happy 6th Birthday Morgann!!

Monday, August 31, 2009

Today we were back to our old routine. Morgann began her first day of school. It is hard to believe that this is her second year in school. She was so excited to start P2. My little girl is growing up too fast.
